Tonight: Sebastian & Storey Perform at Ratchet

Plus, an informative workshop at Brian Sims' office and Mrs. Pinklewinkle leaves the trailer park for a night of comedy.

Local gay electronic-music duo Sebastian Cummings and Ben Storey (aka Sebastian & Storey) are offering a sneak peek of their upcoming show, A Night Out with Sebastian & Storey, tonight at Tabu’s rad new open-bar party, Ratchet.

The preview performance will pull segments from A Night Out, which promises to be an even bigger to-do than last month’s Plugged Inn: An Eclectic Cabaret. Sebastian will dazzle with a “choreography-packed concert” that he says recalls Beyoncé’s Super Bowl Halftime show, and Storey will perform with his “lo-fi, high-silliness” electronic band, Mixed Signals. There will also a “Grown & Sexy” contest to honor the evening’s best-dressed attendees. Word on the street is that high marks will be given to looks that are glittery and androgynous. Ratchet: 9 p.m.-midnight, $5-$15, Tabu Lounge and Sports Bar, 200 S. 12th St.; A  Night Out with Sebastian & Storey: Fri., March 15 and Fri., March 22, 9 p.m., $7 (gets you one drink ticket), Tabu Lounge and Sports Bar.
