Forget Juice Cleanses. Go With The Free Pizza!!!

Tony Roni’s, the locally owned group of pizzerias that won Best of Philly for their tomato pie, just opened a Bala Cynwyd location on Monday. The Phanatic was on hand yesterday and Miss America Pennsylvania USA will be signing autographs this evening, because, you know, pizza and pageantry just go hand-in-hand. But you should really wait until tomorrow to pay them a visit, because that’s when they’re giving away free slices all day long. Since they haven’t updated their website yet, I should probably tell you that the new spot is at 273 Montgomery Avenue, down the street from Hymie’s and Murray’s. It’s worth noting that the Bala shop is just a mile-and-a-half from Roni’s original City Avenue location, which has been contributing to the “Freshman 20” at St. Joe’s since 2008.
