Noted wine anti-snob Randall Grahm is appearing at the Tria at Washington Square-West today from 4:30 to 6. In honor of his presence Tria will be offering Ca’ del Solo Albarino 2009 ($4) and Bonny Doon Le Cigare Volant 2006 ($8).

And as we mentioned earlier today, Guapos Tacos will be at 13th and Chancellor after 10:30pm.

You need something to do while avoid the gangs of green but what? East Passyunk seems safe and we’ve been jonesing for some tomato pie from Stogie Joe’s.

The Fishtown Neighbors Association hosts a Chili Cookoff on Sunday afternoon. Eight local restaurants and caterers are competing plus an amateur division. It will also be an opportunity to try beer from Saint Benjamin’s, the nano-brewery trying to get off the ground in Fishtown.
