Missing Girl Hanniya Mitchell Has Been Found

Good news from the Philadelphia Police Department.

UPDATE 10/21 8:20 a.m.: The Philadelphia Police Department reports that Hanniya Mitchell has been located. The West Philadelphia 13-year-old was originally reported missing after leaving the house at 6:30 a.m. on Monday morning and never turning up at school.

13-year-old Hanniya Mitchell walked out of her house in West Philadelphia on Monday morning at 6:30 a.m., and her family hasn’t seen her since. And now police are asking for the public’s help in finding her.

Mitchell lives on the 400 block of South 62nd Street, just a few blocks from W.C. Bryant Promise Academy, which she attends. Police say she never made it to school on Monday.

Police describe her as follows:

Hanniya is 4’6”, 115lbs, with brown eyes, medium build, dark brown complexion, and black wavy shoulder length hair; last seen wearing a blue Polo shirt, khaki pants, gold jacket with fur, and red sneakers.
