Don Tollefson Has Been Arrested

On Tuesday afternoon, the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office announced that Don Tollefson has been arrested, four months after we first told you about the stink of scandal surrounding the former Philly sportscaster. Tollefson is being charged with fraud, solicitation and theft.

Warminster Police have arrested Donald Tollefson on felony and misdemeanor theft and charity fraud charges.

From a press release that the D.A.’s office sent out on Tuesday morning:

The evidence to date shows that Tollefson, over the past three (3) years, fraudulently solicited money for charities – including the Special Olympics of Pennsylvania, the Salvation Army, and the Brad Fox Foundation – then misappropriated that money. The investigation shows Tollefson victimized more than 100 individuals and misappropriated more than $100,000.

Neither Tollefson nor his attorney responded to a request for comment on Tuesday morning.
