We all know that Memorial Day weekend is the *official* kick-off to summer shore season. But the beauty of the Jersey Shore is that you don’t necessarily have to limit yourself to that three-ish month window to enjoy those beloved sandy towns. (Autumn down the shore is a gem, FYI.)

The Reeds at Shelter Haven down in Stone Harbor is the crème de la crème of Shore getaways. Each room feels like a mini oasis, you can kayak or go paddleboarding right from the resort’s dock, and don’t even get us started about the margs at the open-air restaurant Buckets overlooking the bay. It’s no wonder Oprah stays here whenever she’s in town. Its spa, Salt Spa at The Reeds, will make it even tougher to leave.
