If you’re in the market for a very good boy, may I introduce to you John Kennedy Droole, or JK Droole for short. If his name didn’t give it away already, this guy has star potential. Not only is he handsome, but also he’s oh-so loving and friendly.

JK Droole has been in the shelter since May and is just about over that life, but he’s still playing it cool like a true gentleman. When he’s not shelling out slobbery kisses, JK is down to join you for a leisurely jog — perfect for the slower-paced runners out there, as he’s not one to drag you along. And, if JK is being honest with himself, he’s probably better suited for hikes and nature walks than long-distance runs.

If JK Droole’s sweet face is the one you want to come home to every day, he promises to be super-loving and as attentive to your needs as possible in return. Learn more about this stud muffin below to find out if he’s the right fit to be your new BFF. He’s ready, are you?

Name: John Kennedy Droole (a.k.a. JK Droole)

Age: Approximately three years

Breed: Pit Mix

Size: JK is a big boy.

Running style: JK is no speed demon, but he does enjoy a low-key jog with some faster bursts mixed in. He certainly isn’t going to run any marathons, but shorter distances suit him just fine. We think he would be best for someone who wants to say active and be outside, but doesn’t necessarily want to get their butt kicked by their dog everyday. What JK would REALLY enjoy is leisurely hikes and walks.

Why JK Droole could be the right dog for you: JK Droole is such a lovable and huggable guy, a real gentle giant. He is low-key and easy to hang with, and has such a gentle disposition. You’ll fall in love with his kind eyes as soon as you meet him. JK has met quite a few dogs during his time in the shelter, and has done well with them. He is GREAT with humans of all sizes. If you like to give and receive attention and you enjoy sloppy kisses, this is the dog for you!

How to adopt: JK Droole has been waiting for a home since May, when Street Tails Animal Rescue took him in. To adopt, email adopt@streettails.org for an application. If you have questions, send an email to this address or contact the Street Tails Animal Rescue adoption staff at 267-761-9434.
