Including some crazy-cheap choices.

We’ve all done it: One minute you’re scrolling through Instagram, the next you’re lost in a deep, dark hole searching the depths of the Internet for THAT. CUTE. SPORTS. BRA. Of course, many Instagrammers will tag the brands in their photos, but still, we constantly find ourselves scrolling past fitfluencers wondering: How does she always look so good?

So we asked a few Philly Instagram stars to spill their secrets and share the fitness brands they can’t get enough of. The only rule? No Lululemon — because, c’mon, we don’t need to remind you they’ve got good stuff.

Emily Hsu Designs

Laury Raiken, @lauryannraik

“I am obsessed with Emily Hsu Designs. The yoga leggings are high-waisted, stay in place during my sweaty power yoga practice, and aside from having the most beautiful patterns, they are extremely flattering! I shop for them through Sherri Ponticello who reps the line locally. She does a lot of trunk shows in the Philly area so you can try them on and get a discount since you don’t have to pay shipping!”

Favorite purchase: “It is so hard to choose since I have dozens of their pants! I’d have to go with the limited-edition pink mermaid leggings or the Tropics leggings. Most of the pants I am wearing in my Instagram photos are by Emily Hsu.”

Girlfriend Collective

Adriana Akintobi, @adrianaadele

“I’ve basically only purchased Girlfriend Collective over the past year. There are so many reasons why I love this brand. Not only are their matching sets super comfortable and flattering and made out of recycled water bottles (score one for the environment), they are committed to mindful and ethical manufacturing practices. Their factory is SA8000 certified which means they use no forced labor and pay fair wages and ensure safe working conditions. And they make an effort to have more inclusive marketing and size range from XXS-XXXL. I support them because I want to see more brands do the same!”

Favorite purchase: “My favorite outfit from them might be the ivory set of high-waisted full-length leggings and Paloma bra. I mix and match the bra.”

Adidas

Amandah Polivitus, @pandahamandah

“My current favorite brand to rock is Adidas. I can’t get enough of their joggers, simple tank tops, and strappy (but not super girly) sports bras.”

Favorite purchase: “My favorite item has easily got to be their Ultra Boost sneakers: They’re so comfortable to wear and to run in!”

Victoria’s Secret

Alanna Gardner, @alannagthemft

“My favorite places to shop for fitness gear that’s not Lululemon would have to Victoria’s Secret. They have really cute clothes that are both great to wear but also really affordable. Plus, I also appreciate that their sizing is pretty consistent which makes it easier to just walk in and pick something up without trying it on if you’re in a pinch for time.”

Favorite purchase: “My favorite thing from Victoria’s Secret right now is the Knockout Sport Capri in the color Withered Rose. I’m a sucker for soft rose colored items and this color definitely is that vibe.”

New Balance

Rachel Rubin, @fitwithrachel

“I used to be an ambassador for New Balance and I am still a strong advocate for their NB Women’s brand! Their clothes fit and wear better than any other I’ve worn. Their sports bras are comfortable and stylish so they can be worn without a top for some sweaty chicness.”

Favorite purchase: “I’d say their Strappy Crop Top bras are my fave. And also can’t forget that their shoes feel like you’re walking on air! Incredible comfort and support. My favorite are the Fresh Foam Cruz.”

Old Navy

Davida Janae, @vidafashionista

“I shop at Old Navy, T.J. Maxx, and Marshalls for my workout clothes. It’s great shopping there because you get super cute workout clothes without spending a fortune. In the end, you get more for your money.”

Favorite purchase: “My favorite thing I’ve bought is from Old Navy. It’s a floral sports bra and leggings set.”

Asos

Tonya Russell, @_ajourneytofit_

“I get a lot of my gear from Asos online and Athleta. Asos is a go-to online since they have a variety great clothes, ranging from cheap to steep. Think brands like Boohoo and Varley.”

Favorite purchase: “My favorite thing I bought from Asos was the cute set I wore in my aerial hoops photo. It was pretty cheap, and I’ve gotten messages on Instagram asking where I got it.”

Carbon38

Erika Epstein, @yogiberi

“I’m a huge online shopper and love buying my yoga gear on carbon38.com. They have a ton of unique brands that are high quality.”

Favorite purchase: “My favorite thing that I’ve purchased are my Ultracor camo star leggings that I receive a ton of compliments on. They’re a little pricy, but worth it! Readers can use my code ERIKAEPS50 for 20 percent off their first order.”
