Stripp’d Juice Is Closing Their Fishtown Location

It's a sad day for açai.

Last spring, one of Philly’s favorite juice-hub-healthy-eatery combo joints, Stripp’d Juice, opened their second outpost in Fishtown. Everyone was so stoked to have this hip spot land in one of Philly’s hippest neighborhoods, in seemingly the perfect location (next to City Fitness, I mean, come on). As it turns out, this was not the prime spot for Stripp’d Juice as the biz announced on Tuesday afternoon via Instagram that the location will be shutting its doors for good.

“I decided to close our Fishtown location ultimately because it was not the right fit for our brand,” says Stripp’d Juice owner Khoran Horn. “While we had a customer base there who loved our culinary focused menu on the other hand there is a customer who wanted more of convenience-based, price-conscience grab-and-go environment.”

But fret not, juice junkies: You will still be able to score açai bowls and all of your other Stripp’d Juice healthy favorites at their Old City location (263 North 3rd Street), which they are currently working to relaunch, with an opening date targeted for late next week. According to Horn, the revamp will bring new menu items and takeaway options and changes made with customers’ feedback in mind. And, speaking of that, Stripp’d is also implementing new store processes to streamline service: “At no point should anyone have to wait 45 minutes for anything, regardless how many people are in our space, or how slammed we are,” says Horn.
