Dottie’s Donuts has a very sweet gift for you on this National Donut Day, friends! The makers of delicious vegan donuts (think: rose-water pistachio, and chocolate-chip-cookie-dough-filled creations), who opened their first shop on West Philly’s Springfield Avenue last year, just announced they’ll be opening a second shop verrrrry soon. And the location kind of can’t be beat: They’ll be opening right next door to the all-vegan Blackbird Pizzeria on South 6th Street in Queen Village.

As the guys from Dottie’s tell us, the new shop is aiming for an early-June opening, and they’ll be slinging the same sweet creations they’re known for in West Philly along with more house-baked goods. The new shop won’t have an espresso machine, but they’ll be making up for that with drinks like Thai tea and matcha lemonade (Mmmmm). They’ll also be serving up Elixir cold brew and hot coffee to wash your donuts down with.

The exact address of the new shop is 509 South 6th Street, and you can keep up with Dottie’s on Instagram for sneak peeks (they posted a photo of the soon-to-be storefront this morning). Until they open their doors, we’ll just be over here daydreaming of vegan Blackbird cheese fries followed by a Dottie’s dessert.
