Surprise! The Next #NightshiftPHL Pop-Up Night Run Is Tomorrow

You’d better take Thursday morning off, folks!

If you were planning on getting a solid eight hour of sleep tomorrow night, you’re going to want to think again: Our friends Jon Lyons of Run215 and Suzanne Allaire of Runner’s World just spilled the beans on the next #NightshiftPHL (those are their pop-up runs for night owls, if you’re late to the game) and — drumroll, please — it’s going down tomorrow evening.

Here’s the deal: The three-mile pop-up run, open to anyone and everyone who doesn’t get anxiety at the thought of not being in bed by 10 p.m. (just me?), will start at 2nd and Lombard streets tomorrow (that’s Wednesday, November 16th) at 9:30 p.m. And this one is going to be pretty darn special: The folks from Runner’s World will be bringing a camera crew with them. Meaning your pretty face could be in a real life magazine!

All you have to do to get in on the fun is show up tomorrow evening in your running shoes with a canned good in hand, to be donated to Philabundance. The run will end at Field House (1150 Filbert Street) where folks will drink $4 brews and decorate all sorts of goodies for Run215’s Hype Tent (that’s their cheer station at mile 24.5 of Philadelphia Marathon). That’s right: Your night tomorrow will be filled with running, beer and arts and crafts. Can we get a double thumbs up, please?
