Attention all yogis and yogi wannabes: The new Bulldog Yoga in Villanova (775 East Lancaster Avenue) is offering three days of free classes starting this Friday, February 19th, through Sunday, the 21st, to celebrate their grand opening. Eeeeee!

You might know the studio from their pop-up classes at Lululemon Wayne. If not, to give you an idea of the new studio’s vibe: They tell us they’ve ditched the chanting, “ommm”-ing and serious attitude that can come along with yoga for feel-good music and a fun atmosphere. They offer three classes: “Activate,” “Invigorate,” and “Exhilarate.” Their classes are offered at two temperatures: room temperature, in the mid 70s, and hot, in the low 90s, and music — much of it modern — is a big part of all of them.

So where’d the name Bulldog Yoga come from? “It’s fun, different — and people love bulldogs,” says General Manager Katy Conicella, the brain behind Bulldog’s yoga philosophy.

This weekend, they’re showcasing all three of their classes — there are over 20 free classes on the roster! — and they also have “Learn It” options geared toward newbies. So basically there’s something for everyone. Sign up for a slot here; they’re going fast. Oh! And if a free class isn’t enough incentive, also know that their adorable bulldog mascot, Gracie, might make an appearance.
