If the only thing that will get you to lace up your running shoes come February weather is the promise of alcohol at the finish line, grab a pen and mark this date down: On Saturday, February 6th, the ODDyssey Half Marathon is putting on a three-mile run to Olde Kensington’s New Liberty Distillery, all in support of Open Streets PHL. How can you say no to that?

The run will leave from the Art Museum at 11:30 a.m. and will head to New Liberty Distillery at 1431 North Cadwallader Street. Once there, runners will get to sample some of the distillery’s goods before sitting down and soaking up some running knowledge courtesy of local running experts. Folks talking include Kelly Jones, director of nutrition at Newtown Athletic Club, Dr. Michael Ross, a sports medicine physician from Rothman Institute, and running coach David Wisniewski. When the event is over, everyone will go home with a commemorative whiskey glass.

The whole shebang will run you $25. And if you register using the code BeWellPhilly before tomorrow, you’ll get $5 off. And note, the run is limited to 100 people, so it’s probably going to fill up pretty fast. You can register here. Happy running (for alcohol), friends!
