Got Mud? Register for the Mudderella Obstacle Course

Despite a clever name that resembles a certain Disney princess, Mudderella is no fairy tale: The women-created, women-run obstacle course will test your endurance and strength, and leave you completely coated in mud (Mudderella, get it?). Thousands of participants showed up to the inaugural race in the Poconos last September, so it’s no surprise that this year they’re expanding to more cities, including our own. Lucky us!

The Mudderella, a mud-filled obstacle course stretching up to seven miles long, will have you climbing, crawling, and sliding to the finish line. But don’t worry, it’s noncompetitive, meaning you can spend more time completing the obstacles and cheering on your teammates instead of wasting time stressing about whether you’re in the lead.

Bonus: You’re getting muddy for a good cause. Mudderella is partners with Futures Without Violence, a national nonprofit that helps survivors of domestic violence. Participants are encouraged to fundraise (each person or team that registers automatically has a fundraising page created) and you can win cool swag for meeting certain goals.

The event will be coming to Coatesville on August 16th. That’s ten days away, people! Now, no pressure, but after today, the registration fee jumps from $99 to $109, so the sooner you sign up, the better. You can register as an individual or as a team. To get more info about Mudderella, go here.
