Tell Us: How Do You Use the City as a Gym?

We see the city as one great big (free!) gym—and we're betting you do, too. We want to know your favorite workout spots.

Inspired by last week’s playground workout post and the absolutely gorgeous weather we’ve been having, I’ve been thinking: What inventive ways have fit Philadelphians found to use the city as their gym?

There’s the obvious, of course—intervals on the Art Museum steps, long runs on the Schuylkill River Trail or Kelly Drive. But surely you all have come up with inventive ways to get a great workout in our fair city. Tell us your secrets!

Where are your favorite places to get a good burn in Philly? Do you do walking lunges around Washington Square? Down dog in Rittenhouse? Hill repeats on Lemon Hill?

We want your ideas in the comments below. Or, join the conversation on Twitter or Facebook.
