Lululemon to Host Awesome (Free!) Yoga Festival in LOVE Park

As some of you might remember, we were pretty bummed when we heard Lululemon wouldn’t be bringing Wanderlust in the City to Philly this year. But consider our tears dried: The Lululemon Walnut Street store is hosting a new yoga-filled fest called Revival this October — and it sounds ah-mazing.

As Bonkosi Horn, assistant manager over at Lululemon’s Walnut Street store, tells us, “Our goal with Revival is to do what we can to help Philly come together as a community and revive. I feel like Philly’s on the edge of doing something really big and we want to give all sorts of people from all walks of life a venue to come together to help make Philly a better place to be.” Noble, right?

So, what’s all involved in this Revival? Well, a lot, actually. On Saturday, October 10th, from noon to 6:29 p.m. (when the sun is slated to set that day), they’ll be holding the free yoga-filled festival, no RSVP required, in LOVE Park. There will be bring-your-own-mat yoga classes going throughout the day — most of them complete with the awesome dj SYLO, who provided the tunes for our final Be Well Philly Summer Yoga Flow class! — plus they’ll have speakers, grub from Sweetgreen (!!), a collective meditation session, and more. And again, it’s all FREE. Sweet, right?

They’ve got a handful of great Philly yoga instructors on board — Daniel Cordua of Palo Santo Wellness Boutique, Jean-Jacques Gabriel of Studio 34 and Maha Yoga Studio, Alex Holmes of DIG Yoga and Dhyana Yoga, and more — and Horn tells us they might be adding more food to the mix. Yeah, it’s going to be a good day. I suggest you mark your calendars now!
