When we are craving some good, hearty BBQ, we head over to Fette Sau for some Black Angus Brisket and sweet potato mash. And now, STARR Restaurants has announced that now you can get that messy, scrumptious, picnic-y feel from Fette Sau at your wedding! The ever-popular Fishtown spot has just launched it’s new catering program, which means your wedding-day can be full of your most craved comfort foods from your favorite BBQ joint.

The restaurant’s catered wedding service will be buffet/station kind of deal (different set-ups for meats, for sides, and of course, dessert) that allows guests to roam around and choose their favorites to put on their plates. Fette Sau will provide all the trays, cutlery and utensils—and will have different serveware  available so you can choose the style that will fit right in with your specific wedding (we’re imagining a tented soiree in a parents’ sprawling backyard). They will even rent ovens to come cook at your event—just make sure your space will accommodate conventional ones—and with a serving staff and cleaning crew option, you won’t have to lift a finger before, during, or after your Big Day.

Their catering menu gives you loads to chose from—from Berkshire pulled pork and Nicolosi hot Italian sausage to mac and cheese and spicy cole slaw—and is a great fit for a couple looking for a warm-weather, outdoorsy, no-white-tableclothes-allowed kind of wedding. (Side note: Every couple we’ve ever known who has done the BBQ thing for their wedding, and every guest we’ve ever known who has attended at BBQ kind of wedding has raved about doing so.)

FS can swing a celebration for up to 200 people, though with enough notice, are willing to feed more, and the delivery minimum is $200. To talk about specifics and options, you can call up the restaurant and ask to speak with Jessica Fox.

Just make sure, please, brides, that you have a really good bib.
