Come On Wander Inn

In Philadelphia you’re neighborhood isn’t officially “up and coming” till you get a gastropub. Congratulations to Point Breeze trailblazers, it seems your time has come.

South Philadelphia Taproom’s John Longacre confirms that his LPMG company has indeed purchased the Wander Inn at 18th and Federal. Workers have been spotted inside over the past week but no timeline for an opening has been set.

The concept will be local food and Brownstoner refers to it as a casual restaurant. There’s discussion as to the name on the Philly Speaks thread. We hope they stick with Wander Inn, it’s one of our favorite names, right up there with Sit On It bar for us.
