To Do: Totally Awesome 80s Run

There are few things better in life than costume parties. Which is why when you combine a run with a costume bash, you have a recipe for a really fun event. On Saturday, August 25th, the Totally Awesome 80s Run will take place in Pitman, New Jersey, just over the bridge in Gloucester County. The event includes a 5K run at  11 a.m. (hooray for sleeping in!) followed by an 80s-themed dance party at the Carolina Blue Smokehouse and Taproom, complete with a live 80s cover band, buffet spread and an open bar until 1 p.m (drink specials to follow). Awards will be handed out for the top male and female finishers, best costumes and best Running Man interpretation at the finish line. Totally awesome, right?
