Democrats Blast Romney’s Amtrak Plan at 30th Street Station
A group of Democratic politicians gathered at 30th Street Station on Wednesday to criticize GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney’s plan to end federal funding for Amtrak. Romney used his speech at the Republican National Convention in Tampa to trumpet his platform calling for the full privatization of Amtrak.
