Three Aerial Pools Worth Sneaking Into

Dare to dip. (C’mon, you know you’ve thought about it.)

Next time you’ve got friends coming to town, suggest booking a room at the Sonesta (1800 Market Street, Center City), then meet them for a dip in the eighth-floor rooftop pool. It’s got cabana-style seating and looks dreamy at night.

More interested in basking in the sun than scorching in it? Head to the Sheraton Society Hill Hotel (1 Dock Street, Society Hill), which has a top-floor indoor pool housed beneath a soaring glass ceiling. Don’t skip the hot tub.

The swanky new AKA University City (2929 Walnut Street, University City) has a stunning 72-foot indoor lap pool, and while it isn’t technically on a roof, it has floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook a 28th-story terrace (complete with fire pits!) just steps away.
