Taylor Swift in Talks to Perform Halftime Show at Super Bowl

Next year’s Super Bowl halftime show may be getting a dose of Wyomissing, according to new reports from RadarOnline.com. According to a piece published today, pop star Taylor Swift is in talks to headline next year’s show.

The blog says the NFL approached Swift with an offer and that the singer is on board with the idea. “She feels it’s the right way to close out the 1989 chapter of her career,” says a source.

The only holdup, RadarOnline.com says, is that Swift’s rumored rival Kay Perry performed the Super Bowl halftime show last year and even went so far as to mock Swift by dressing her backup dancers “in Swift’s cutesy style.”

It’s doubtful that will hold her up, though. The source says Swift has already gone so far as to lock in who she wants to perform with and has chosen a performance director for the spectacle. “She’s just waiting on financials from the NFL before signing on the dotted line.”

It seems like a pretty obvious choice, considering she’s The. Biggest. (and Richest!) Pop. Star. In. The. World. Stay tuned for any updates.
