Collingswood Waitress, Scranton Dentist on New Season of Big Brother
CBS has announced the 14 cast members who will spend weeks locked in a house with other
crazy people strangers on Big Brother 17. The lineup includes John McGuire, a 27-year-old dentist from Scranton, and a 25-year-old waitress from Collingswood named Meg Maley. More info about each of them from CBS’s Big Brother site.
McGuire “says he’s unlike any other dentist as he’s loud, obnoxious and never runs out of energy.” He says he’s going into the game looking for a showmance and his goal is to win Big Brother “so he can save his parents’ lake house and pay off his student loans.”
Maley grew up in Collingswood, but currently lives in New York. “She considers herself an adorable blonde and perfect for the guys, while the gay guys love her sass and the ladies love her for strict adherence to the girls code.” She says she’s freaking out about getting bored in the house: “Living in NYC, I constantly have things to do, people to see and places to go. Three months in the same environment frightens me.”
This season, the Big Brother house is beach-themed, with flashy colors and designs, which I’m guessing will look something like a Lilly Pulitzer ad. The upstairs, according to Big Brother Network, will have an extra 150-plus square feet thanks to a glass bridge.
Big Brother 17 begins on June 24th, with a two-night premiere. Like usual, episodes will air three nights a week, on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, until the winning house guest is revealed.
