If you’re a Prince fan, keep your eyes posted to the interwebs over the next few months: The artist is launching a series of spontaneous pop-up concerts across the nation that will be announced at a moment’s notice, aptly titled the “Hit and Run Tour.”

In the spirit of a pop-up concert, the only confirmed date thus far is a March 14 engagement in Louisville, Kentucky, but that doesn’t mean that Prince won’t be stopping by our area.

This isn’t the first time that Prince has performed these types of spontaneous concerts; He toured Europe and London in the same fashion, sometimes announcing venues on the morning of the performance. It has got us thinking about great places in Philly where Prince could “pop-up” (Electric Factory? TLA?).

We’ll keep you posted if we hear any distinct whispers. Hey, it makes total sense that he’d come here. Philly loves a pop-up.
