Martha Graham Cracker Cabaret
Celebrate the start of the 2014 Fringe Festival with a free show from one of Philly's most popular performers, Martha Graham Cracker, joined by members of the Philadelphia Orchestra. Autumn's Colors at Longwood Gardens
Embrace the change of season at Autumn's Colors this weekend, a celebration of fall. On view at Longwood Gardens this Saturday through November 23rd, nature lovers can take in the foliage while enjoying tons of daily activities, including meadow garden walks and hikes, open-air theater fountain shows, the garden railway, and more. 19th Century Baseball Exhibition and Fair
Baseball fans, we're looking at you: The Athletic Base Ball Club of Philadelphia will host the 19th Century BaseBall Exhibition & Fair this weekend, a free two-day event at the Navy Yard. Enthusiasts of the sport will have the chance to watch vintage base ball matches–with no gloves and underhand pitches, of course. Local food trucks will set up shop on site selling tasty eats and beverages, and The Franklin Fountain will be scooping out homemade ice-cream. There will be plenty of merchandise vendors, bat makers, and information tables to check out as well. More information can be found here. Last Urban Yoga Philly Outdoor Yoga Class of the Season

From Foobooz: The Great Philadelphia Craft Beer Crawl is this Saturday in Fairmount and it’s a pretty good deal that you might want to hop on if interested.With over 1100 tickets already sold, remaining spaces are limited. The Crawl is from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. and supplies you with a custom craft beer mug, complimentary craft beer samples and discounted beer specials for only $20. Riverfront Ramble
Head to the largest riverfront festival in Delaware County this Saturday for a full day of fun, including live music, crafts, food vendors, an antique car show, an iron chef competition, a science fair, petting zoo, and much more. The night will end with a fireworks display over the river. Guests are invited to bring blankets and chairs and set up camp, as activities last all day long. Admission is free. "A World of Contrast"
The Bazemore Gallery invites you to the opening reception of its latest exhibition, "A World of Contrast," by local artists Alan Soffer and Jessica Libor (pictured). Their canvas works will use oil and encaustic painting to explore elements of beauty and the mind. Saturday, September 6th, 6 p.m.- 9 p.m., The Bazemore Gallery, 4339 Main Street.
Doo-Wop in the Park
Throwback to the '50s this weekend with an all-day groove fest. The ninth annual Doo-Wop in the Park features performances from The Excellents, Shirley Alston Reeves (the original singer of the Shirelles), The Happenings, Street Corner 5, and Charlie Thomas' Drifters. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets, and refreshments will be available for purchase. The event is free. Sunday, September 7th, 4 p.m., Mill Street Parking Lot, Bristol, PA.

What's Playing at the Festival Bar
One of the best parts about the FringeArts festival is arguably the Festival Bar. For the first time in FringeArts history, the bar will take place in its new permanent home—Chef Peter Woolsey’s La Peg, a bar and restaurant in the barely year-old FringeArts building at 140 North Columbus Boulevard. Throughout the course of the three-week festival the bar will host some performances of its own, including the magical, comedic shenanigans of Dennis Diamond and Daryl Hannah of Elephant Room (pictured) and Pig Iron's Night of Cabaret.
