Get our weekly picks of what to do this weekend and the latest on Philly's arts and entertainment scene.

"Shattering Expectations at Magic Gardens"
It's time to update that default Facebook pic of you posing in front of Philadelphia's Magic Gardens. This Friday, the long-standing South Street mosaic wonderland opens its new exhibit, "Shattering Expectations: Mosaic 2014" with support from the Mosaic Society of Philadlphia. The new exhibition features work from local mosaicists in a juried showing, with an opening reception this weekend. The exhibition runs until April 20th. Friday, March 8th, 6 p.m., free reception + $7 admission, Magic Gardens, 1020 South Street.

The Great Ice Cream Auction
Little Baby's Ice Cream, despite its, um, acquired taste offerings, has more than a cult following. Patrons already love "standard" flavors like Earl Grey Sriracha, but this Friday, you can get limited edition flavors. Bring a cooler, so you can drag home your vats of creamy goodness, in flavors like Tomato and Grilled Cheese, Federal Donut Spiced Pumpkin Latte and Green Apple Garlic. Friday, March 7th, free, Little Baby's Ice Cream, 2311 Frankford Avenue.

An Intimate Evening with Art Garfunkel
Art Garfunkel comes to the Philadelphia Museum of Art this Friday for an intimate evening of anecdotes, prose, Q&A and of course, his inimitable countertenor. As one=half of the beloved pop duo, Simon and Garfunkel, Garfunkel has been at the forefront of Americana for over 40 years, with numerous musical, film, and other generation-defining credits to his name. After taking time off from music due to ailment, Garfunkel returns with a stripped-down, acoustic series. Friday and Saturday, March 7th and 8th, 7:30 p.m., Philadelphia Art Museum, 2600 Benjamin Franklin Parkway.

"Alien She"
The snarling, feminist punk movement that punched, kicked and shredded its way out of the Pacific Northwest (and into our hearts) in the '90s finds a new home at Vox Populi in Chinatown. Its new exhibition, "Alien She" (after the Bikini Kill song), features artifacts of the scene and art inspired by it. Queer and feminist culture come together in this exhibition featuring work from Miranda July and sculptor Stephanie Syyjuco among many other riotous girls (and boys). Learn the history of the zine-wielding, guitar-smashing, gender-bending grrrls and their call to riot, running through March 27th. Friday, March 7th, Vox Populi, 319 North 11th Street.

Dragapalooza
Hallelujah! Dragapalooza is back. The hugely popular drag nigth went on hiatus in 2013, but returns this weekend with more glam and glitter than ever. Brittany Lynn and NYC drag-queen Brenda Dharling host, with queens like Navaya Shay, Aeryana Von Moi, Crystal Electra and more channeling pop divas past and present for a night of raucous fun. It's better than Britney, bitch. Saturday, March 8th, 8 p.m., Voyeur Nightclub, 1221 St. James Street.
