Questlove Signs Deal to Write Another Memoir


Reverb reports that Philly Roots drummer Questlove has signed a deal to write a book about his life:

The Roots star is expanding his literary career and writing a follow-up to his 2013 critically acclaimed memoir, “Mo Meta Blues: The World According to Questlove.”

The musician, real name Ahmir Thompson, is re-teaming with bosses at Grand Central Publishing for the new nonfiction book, according to website Publisher’s Marketplace.

He is currently writing his second book titled “Soul Train: The Music, Dance And Style Of A Generation,” about the celebrated music TV show which aired in the U.S. from 1971 to 2006.
