It’s Time to Donate Your Old Denim to Madewell

Trade in your little-worn pairs for a sweet discount.

Remember back in February when J.Crew made a public appeal for your old denim? Well, now its sister store Madewell’s turn. It’s for an awesome cause and we’re totally on board.

First, do a little a pre-fall wardrobe cleansing and round up all of your old pairs of jeans. Then head over to your local Madewell to donate your jeans. They’ll be turned over to Blue Jeans Go Green, a denim recycling program that repurposes old jeans into environmentally safe denim insulation for benefit homes in need. In exchange for your good will, shoppers will be gifted with $20 off a new pair of Madewell denim (we love these), good to use until October 6th. Now start cleaning out those closets.

Psst: Prefer J.Crew’s jeans? They’re offering the same deal, now through September 30th.
