Today we got some sad news at Shoppist HQ: Arcadia Boutique will be shuttering its door by the end of the month. The sustainable boutique had spent the last seven years at 819 North 2nd Street and has been a fixture in the Northern Liberties shopping scene.

At least there’s a silver lining. The boutique is having a huge clearance sale before it closes its doors for good. Here are the details: Starting Wednesday May 14, visit the shop for 25 to 80 percent off all remaining spring and summer clothing, jewelry and accessories. There are still some great brands like BB Dakota, James Jeans, and Greylin in stock, so move quickly while the pickings are ripe. Furniture, display and décor items from the shop will also be available for sale. (We always loved those thimble-style tables.) Note: The boutique will honor all gift certificates, coupons, and store credits through May 31.

Things look uncertain for now, but we at Shoppist will be on the lookout for the boutique’s next move.
