A funny thing happened when we found Muhammad Ali’s Tuscan-style villa in Cherry Hill was on the market: We also spotted this incredible home around the corner that comes with, of all things, an amazing library with a hidden passageway.

Are you a bookworm who simply loves a good mystery? Walk this way, friends.

To be fair, the home has much more to offer than a gorgeous hexagonally-shaped library. Much like Ali’s home, you’re lookin’ at a wooded 1-acre property in a great part of Cherry Hill.

The home itself is decked out with great spaces, including a spacious kitchen that boasts a centralized stone wall. It houses a double oven on one side, and also a lovely fireplace on the other, which is the centerpiece of the sunken living room. Just off the kitchen is a sun-drenched atrium/dining room flaunts a greenhouse-like experience, offering great views of the property’s natural surroundings.

Now, let’s talk about the library. The hexagonal layout is enhanced by dramatic wood inlaid floors and tall windows. There are built-in shelves everywhere, and though the hidden passageway doesn’t lead to a secret spy cave or dungeon, it does open to reveal a full bathroom. We’re thinking this could make for exceptional master suite, especially if you love being surrounded by your book collection.

The home has seen a few updates recently, including a new roof, siding, driveway and Pella windows. To top is off, the listing states it features a “state of the art closed loop, ‘green’ geothermal HVAC system.” Go green, folks.

Also, go read a book.
