After many months of eager anticipation, the new Terrain at Devon Yard is finally open for business! The sprawling URBN complex (called a “campus” by on-site employees) includes an indoor/outdoor Terrain garden shop, a sprawling Anthropologie & Co. where the clothes are organized by brand departments and the home section looks like the stylish loft of your most creative friend, two gorgeous eateries, and, in what’s most exciting to us here at PW, the new Terrain Gardens wedding venue.
While Styers at Terrain in Glen Mills remains one of Philly’s most unique wedding venues, Terrain Gardens is poised to be a more versatile, make-it-your-own space. The fixtures and finishes are neutral enough to accommodate a wide swath of decor options, but still refined enough to give off a sophisticated feel. Ceremonies for up to 150 take place in the outdoor garden, with the couple exchanging vows under a decor-ready metal pavilion, cocktail hour happens on the garden porch (curtains are currently being installed to make it more of an all-weather space), and dinner and dancing will occur in the modern, lofted farmhouse-style reception space. Twinkling market lights, a connected bridal suite, and plenty of interesting photo ops in the adjoining Terrain shop are sure to make for an unforgettable wedding experience.
