Local restauranteur Dave Magrogan recently opened the doors to his 18th eatery—a Sea Isle City outpost of his popular Doc Magrogan’s Oyster House, located inside The Dunes condo complex in the Townsend Inlet section of town. As expected, the restaurant itself is stunning with its crisp white bar and funky light fixtures, but it’s the adjoining Breakwaters Ballroom that really caught our eye.

The new 130-person wedding and banquet venue pairs perfectly with the restaurant next door—it’s bright and airy with deep wood floors and cool white trimmings. The open floor plan allows you to customize the space to fit the needs of your event, and when hosting your party here, you have access to the restaurant, too.

Sounds ideal for a summer wedding, right? Well get this: Magrogan and his team just tapped Philly wedding planner Renee Patrone to consult on and help coordinate all of the events at the Breakwaters Ballroom—so when you book your wedding here, you’ll have her 10+ years of expertise on your side (Doc Magrogan’s on-site event coordinator Devon Giunta will be also be at the venue on a daily basis to help plan events).

The Breakwaters Ballroom is currently accepting bookings for 2016 and 2017; click here for more information about renting the space.
