Now’s Your Chance to Get an Amazing Discount on an Underwater Portrait Session with Photographer Julia Lehman

Ana Dias and Rich Martin posed for their engagement session underwater.

Local couple Ana Dias and Rich Martin posed for their engagement session underwater.

We first introduced you to Julia Lehman-McTigue, the local photographer who’s snapping the coolest underwater photos we’ve ever seen, last summer when we wrote a blog post about her unique take on engagement and trash-the-dress sessions. (We were so impressed that we also featured her work in our Spring/Summer 2016 issue.)

While we had seen underwater bridal portraits circulating the web, before Lehman-McTigue, we had yet to see a photographer offering the service locallyit’s safe to say we were intrigued when she landed on our radar.

If you were just as fascinated by the idea of posing for underwater portraits as we were, we’ve got some exciting news: Thanks to a special deal Lehman-McTigue has going for the summer, you can get a major discount on an underwater portrait package.

Here’s what the $975 (originally $1,500) package includes:

  • A 2-3 hour session during the middle of the day (she suggests 12-3pm)
  • A private online gallery of all of the lightly retouched photos
  • One 16×24 custom print
  • 10 custom retouched web-ready images with a small watermark
  • 40 4×6 proofs
  • Access to props, fabrics and dresses
  • A la carte options like professional hair and makeup, framing and acrylic prints

This awesome deal is only available for the first five sessions booked, so you better act fast if this is something you’d like to do, either pre- or post-wedding. To schedule, call Lehman-McTigue at 215-512-1013 or email her at
