6 Things to Keep in Mind Before Starting Your Wedding Diet

Whether or not you choose to embark on a healthy-eating and fitness spree in the months leading up to your wedding is completely up to you, but we find that most brides-to-be commit to at least some level of dieting and increased exercise in preparation for their Big Day (and honeymoon).

If you’re one of them, these six pre-wedding diet tips are certainly worth reading—before you start swearing off all of your favorite foods in an effort to get fit (see Tip No. 3: Don’t be too strict on yourself). They’re on par with everything we’ve heard from the experts in the past—and with what recent brides tend to advise for the engaged girls behind them.

Of course, there’s no one-size-fits-all when it comes to getting in shape for your walk down the aisle, but those bits of advice—like setting realistic goals and giving yourself enough time to reach them—are applicable to all brides.
