Find Inspiration for Your Wedding Decor in Pantone’s Fall 2016 Color Report

Here's a sneak peek at the 10 colors Pantone is loving for fall.

Here’s a sneak peek at the 10 colors Pantone is loving for fall.

Each year, usually sometime in December, we look forward to the day that Pantone pops back on our radar—they declare which hue (or multiple hues) earned the title of Color of the Year, and we frantically scour the web for all the ways in which you can incorporate said color into your wedding palette.

The Color(s) of the Year announcement is, of course, the most anticipated among us wedding/fashion people, but it’s not the only award the color authority is dishing out: Pantone also names the top ten colors for each season, and those shades can certainly inspire your Big Day scheme as well.

So if you’re planning a wedding for later this year, go ahead and take a look at the vibrant, earthy colors Pantone has chosen as their go-to hues for Fall 2016. We’re talking cool, calming blues (Riverside and Airy Blue, they’re called), bold emerald green (Lush Meadow), deep rose-toned pink (Dusty Cedar), exotic yellow (Spicy Mustard) and a handful of other gorgeous shades that we know you’ll love.

Check out the whole lineup here and let us know if you choose any of them for your wedding-day color scheme.
