According to philly.com, by November 1st, Water Works Restaurant & Lounge is set to become the latest wedding venue helmed by Joe Volpe’s Cescaphe Event Group. All weddings and events currently booked at the iconic spot are set to go on as planned.

This will be the catering empire’s sixth event venue in the city, joining the Cescaphe Ballroom, VIE, Tendenza, the Atrium at the Curtis Center, and the Down Town Club as popular places to tie the knot in Philly replete with loads and loads of really good food. (I always tell people going to a wedding at a Cescaphe venue that it will be as though an Italian grandmother is feeding them, which I count as very high praise.)

At the moment, there’s quite a range of options for holding a wedding at Water Works depending on how much of the space you choose to occupy—and capacities go all the way up to 400 if you nab the whole restaurant and the Cliffside Deck, as well. We’ll stay in touch with the Cescaphe folks as it gets closer to them taking the reigns to see what changes this all might bring to couples looking to book their nuptials in the future.
