These Photos From the 10th Annual Toilet Paper Wedding Dress Contest Show Some Seriously Impressive Work

I have mentioned several times on this blog that because I cannot so much as cut a piece of paper in a straight line with scissors, I am extremely impressed by/fascinated by/envious of crafty people. What a thing to be able to create something out of nothing! And to not have to buy everything you ever need.

So maybe it’s just me, but these dresses created by designers at the 10th Annual Toilet Paper Wedding Dress competition at the New York City Design Showcase are seriously impressive! The designers can use things like tape and thread, but as far as the “fabric,” all they can use is Charmin Ultra-Soft.

The designer who won this year did so for the third time, and gets $10,000, too, so this is a pretty big deal. Take a look at the video below, and see more photos here.
