We’re in our last full week of the super fab promotions and events going on at amazing businesses around the city to celebrate Philly mag’s 40th year of Best of Philly—and there’s some fun stuff going on!
- First up, on Thursday the 15th, our favorite local soap makers Duross & Langel are throwing their annual Founder’s Day bash (it’s their ninth anniversary!), but this year, Philly mag readers get some extra perks (you can arrive early and get 20-percent off your purchases). We heart D&L products for weddings—their soaps, lip balms and travel-size goodies make the perfect addition to your guests’ welcome bags, or Philly-made favor! (Get more deets on the event here—there will be cocktails and cake!)
- Then, the #BestofPhilly hastag contest is still going on! You know those Best of Philly signs in a bunch of restaurants and shops all around the city and ‘burbs? They show that that business was a past Best of Philly winner. Just snap a shot of yourself in front of one of those official signs, then use the hashtag #BestofPhilly and tag @PhillyMag to enter, whether it’s on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook. Oh, and what are you entering? For a chance to win tickets to the Best of Philly bash at the Art Museum on Tuesday, August 20th.
