Celeb Wedding Dresses: Angelina Jolie To Wear L’Wren Scott to Marry Brad Pitt? Amy Winehouse’s Gown Stolen
A few eyebrow-raising—though very different—tidbits are circulating today on the subject of celeb wedding gowns:
First, it’s being reported—you know, through the rumor mill—that Angelina Jolie, who I honestly keep forgetting is finally engaged to Brad Pitt, will be wearing L’Wren Scott when they tie the knot. Even though it’s believable, as Ang has worn her designs before and usually rocks them pretty hard, who knows if it’s actually to be believed; I can’t imagine this particular couple letting a single (true) detail slip out into the world before their Big Day. I feel like they’re going to totally Blake-and-Ryan us.
The other piece of news is kind of a bummer: Rolling Stone is reporting that Amy Winehouse’s wedding dress, which she wore to marry Blake Fielder-Civil in 2007, has been taken from her London home. It’s missing along with another dress, both of which were supposed to be auctioned off in the near future to benefit the Amy Winehouse Foundation. Hopefully London police will be able to recover them, both for the sake of the late singer’s family, and the foundation.
