Here in the City of Brotherly Love, there’s no shortage of incredibly talented folks who know a thing or two about beautifying a bride for her wedding day—and two of them have just joined forces.

Hairstylist to the stars and South Philly native Ettore Mastroddi, who has been wowing clients—many of them brides—for decades (nearly the past two of them as the owner of Ettore Salon & Spa) in the biz, has taken his shears and expertise to the well-loved Richel D’Ambra Spa & Salon (owned by his old friend Richel D’Ambra) inside the Ritz-Carlton Philadelphia. Mastroddi, who, spurred by his 50th birthday, was looking to make a change, and D’Ambra, who recently renovated her entire spa and salon from the lobby to the locker rooms, ran into each other one day on Broad Street, started chatting, and soon after, decided to team up.

The newly modernized space at D’Ambra’s spa creates an intimate retreat for guests to enjoy personal attention in a soothing atmosphere. Fresh additions include a tranquility room that is large enough for a party —and a couples’ room that allows you and your other half to get treated side-by-side.

In preparation for your “I Dos,” brides-to-be are encouraged to take advantage of the extensive menu of services by bringing in your ‘maids in for a day of pampering, whether it’s hosting part of your shower or bachelorette party at the spa, or basking in the glory of your Big Day with makeup, hair and nail treatments the morning of. All packages and services can be tailored to fit the needs of you and your guests—and that includes them coming to you, if you’d prefer to primp on your own turf. (Very much worth noting: When you book your wedding-day services with the salon, you’ll receive a complimentary hour-long massage or facial.)

“Our goal is to provide you with the highest level of service by personalizing individual treatments,” says Mastroddi. “Our spa experience will leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated for your special day.”
