The Great Philly Mag Semiquincentennial Quiz: Part 1

Introducing our monthly Semiquincentennial Quiz. First up, the Lenni Lenape Era.

While the whole country will be celebrating America’s 250th this year, we here in Philly have a special stake in the game. After all, this is the nation’s birthplace—we pre-dated this grand experiment. So before you start shooting off fireworks, how about taking a moment to contemplate just how deep this country’s Philly roots go? We’ll be running one quiz every month on America’s Philadelphia story, right up until this special year ends. We start, well, back at the beginning. Make your best guesses, fellow citizens, then check your score when you’re done. And good luck! (And if you did the quiz on paper, you can see the answer key here.)
