Plus other awesome events worthy of your attendance.

Metamorphosis: An Anti-Gala is Saturday, May 19th outside University of the Arts.

This week’s LGBTQ event of the week is Metamorphosis: An Anti-Gala. Come out for an event that celebrates community and honors the work of Black trans women who have currently and formally worked at LGBTQ non-profit Mazzoni Center, along with their front-line staff. Hosted by the Black and Brown Workers Cooperative, this outdoor ceremony encourages you to dress to impress, preferably in all Black, and dance to the live DJ who will be spinning all night. The event kicks off on Saturday, May 19th, at 6:30 p.m. outside the Dorrance Hamilton Hall of the University of the Arts, 320 S. Broad St. This event is free and open to the public.
