Welcome to the New Phillymag.com

For the first time in several years, we’re rolling out an exciting new redesign.

If you’re a regular visitor to phillymag.com, you’re probably noticing some changes as you look at the site today. For the first time in several years, we’re rolling out an exciting new redesign – one aimed at making our content easier to consume and the experience of visiting phillymag.com even more pleasing.

Among the changes you’ll notice are a cleaner, more sophisticated look that’s much closer to our monthly print magazine; simplified navigation; bolder photography; and a significantly faster loading time. And while we continue to put an emphasis on creating smart daily content that keeps you plugged in to what’s happening in Philadelphia right now, the new design also allows us to highlight some of the evergreen guides that help you get the most out of living here.

One other change worth noting is the elimination of comments from our article pages. We’re more interested than ever in hearing what you have to say about our stories, but we’ve come to believe the best forum for that feedback is social media – so we encourage you to offer your insights and opinions through Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. If you want to direct comments to or share information with individual authors, we offer ways to connect with them at the bottom of each article.

Today marks the unveiling of phase one of the redesign; in the months ahead we’ll continue to update our site with new features. Have a comment on how we can keep improving things? Drop us a note. Thanks for reading.
