Sometimes, you just need a cigarette. And in the case of the toothless man seen in this photograph, he apparently really needed one.

According to police, he and a woman walked into the Wawa at 801 Cottman Avenue in Northeast Philadelphia just after midnight on July 30th. They asked for a pack of cigarettes, and the cashier, doing her due diligence, requested identification.

Apparently, the guy didn’t like that very much, so he walked behind the counter, shoved the cashier and another employee and made off with four cartons of Newport smokes. They left in the lamest getaway car ever — a Saturn — which was being driven by someone else, and the car was last seen on Rockwell Avenue.

Police describe the suspects as follows:

Suspect #1: Black male, 5’10″, dark complected, thin build, missing all teeth, wearing a black and red baseball cap with the “P” on the front, black shirt with green print and “Got bit” on the front and “Bite” on the back, dark colored shorts, carrying a light blue book-bag.

Suspect #2: Black female, medium build, dark complected, wearing a black shirt, dark colored shorts, white tube socks, and sneakers.

Suspect #3: Unknown. This suspect was the operator of dark-colored 4-door vehicle used to leave scene.
