WATCH: Man Robs 7-Eleven Across the Street From City Hall

A man wearing a t-shirt around his head — probably as a disguise, possibly as a fashion statement — robbed the 7-Eleven directly across from Philadelphia City Hall.

A brazen robber held up the 7-Eleven across the street from City Hall early last Thursday morning, police say. He also had a white t-shirt wrapped around his head, probably as an attempt at a disguise or possibly as a brazen fashion statement. (He also had on cargo pants, so we can’t discount the possibility he has horrible fashion sense.)

Cops released surveillance video late last week of a man holding up the 7-Eleven at 1319 Market Street at 5:15 a.m. on December 4th.

The man threatened the cashier with a knife, and escaped with an undetermined amount of cash. The police released the following description:

Suspect Description: Black male, 40 years-of-age, 5’10″ stocky build, mustache, wearing a white t-shirt wrapped around his head, black leather jacket, and light colored cargo style pants.
