This Is How Hot Philadelphia Will Be in 50 Years

A very scary map.

According to a projection by the US Geological Survey, the temperature of the United States–newsflash!–is going to rise a lot in the next century. Here’s a map of Pennsylvania, where southeastern PA actually fares better than the rest of the state.

 

And here’s an inset of Philly, which is projected to rise 3.3 degrees Celsius in the next 50 years. (About 6 degrees Fahrenheit.)
