Bradley Cooper Wants to Play Lance Armstrong in the Movie

We don’t even know yet if there will be a “Lance Armstrong’s fall from grace movie”—Just kidding! There totally will be!—but the competition for casting is already heating up. In the metaphorical yellow jersey, pumped up on the performance enhancers known as an an Oscar nomination and former title-holder of “Sexiest Man Alive,” comes Philly’s own Bradley Cooper, who longs to play the world’s most famous lying one-balled ‘roided-out Texan on two wheels:

Cooper, who is nominated for best actor at next month’s Oscars for Silver Linings Playbook, told the BBC: “I remember Matt Damon was going to do his autobiography at one point years ago.

“I remember thinking, that would be a great character, I’d love to play that character. I would love to do something, I think he’s pretty fascinating.”

Other possible candidates for the role? Matt Damon, Jake Gyllenhaal, Michael Fassbender and Christian Bale. But none of them are Bradley Cooper. [BBC News]
