Bradley Cooper’s Oscar Date: Mom

Apparently Philly homeboy (and former People’s Sexiest Man Alive) Bradley Cooper hasn’t gotten over his recent breakup with Zoe Saldana: The star of Silver Linings Playbook is reportedly taking his mom as his date to the Oscars, where he’s nominated for Best Actor.

Cooper, who’s nominated for Best Actor for his performance in Silver Linings Playbook, told E! News that when he first became an actor, he promised his mother, Gloria, that she would be his date if he ever got nominated for an award.

And, Cooper added, his mother was right next to him watching the nomination announcement on TV when he got the good news. “She was freaking out,” he told E!
