Nominate Your Favorite LGBT Icons

Equality Forum wants to hear from you

Equality Forum has started accepting nominations for next year’s LGBT History Month.
Nominations should be submitted by clicking here before Dec. 7.

The 31 Icons, living or dead, will be selected based on their achievements in their field; for their status as a national hero; and/or for their significant contribution to LGBT civil rights.

Making the final selections based on the nominations will be LGBT History Month 2013 co-chairs George Chauncey, chair of the History Department at Yale University; Jennifer Brier, associate professor at University of Illinois in Chicago; and Don Romesburg, assistant professor at Sonoma State University.
