Saanvi Venna, Baby Who Was Killed, Remembered at Funeral

On Sunday, mourners remembered Saanvi Venna, the 10-month-old King of Prussia girl who was abducted from her grandmother and killed last week. (The grandmother was also killed.) “When some purity goes away from us, we feel that in our heart. That is what I see here. Not only the family, but all of us,” said one speaker who did not give his name. “And not just the Indian community, but you see postings on the Web—thousands and thousands of postings by all Americans, Mexicans, any humans.” A neighbor who sought to ransom the girl, Raghunandan “Raghu” Yandamuri, has been accused of the killings. Saanvi was buried at Riverside Cemetery. [Philly.com]
